this is off topic but do anyone know when there will be a release for 9800?

Here is the latest release for the 9800. Official: OS v6.0.0.706 For BlackBerry Torch 9800 From Vodafone New Zealand
I'm using it and it is fast. The best improvement for me has been in reception. I've gone from EDGE to 3G in my home. I've never had 3G on any device at my home until this OS release.
Be sure to read through the entire thread because some users, as well as me, had a problem with a second vendor.xml in a hidden file. I found where it was, deleted it and all went well.

That could be a app conflict with that particular OS.

I agree, this is a very stable OS and yours is the first issue with this build I have heard. I'd give it a try after backing up via the DM, then deleting the latest apps you may have downloaded. Then reinstall the OS.

The newest release for the 9800 is 6.0.0.706 from Vonaphone New Zealand, so long as you know how to install other vendors os'. I installed it yesterday on my 9800, seems stable, good signal, good battery life so far..
