Awesome, good to hear. I guess it's also been a good update for the 9700 as well.

I was having a hell of a time getting the OS to download to my Torch. After a lot of searching, I found out why.
For some reason, this release from New Zealand has a second vendor.xml file that is loaded in a hidden file. You need to go to: C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML.

I located the file by doing a search for Loader xml, including searching hidden files. I use WinXP, and when my search located the loader file, I just right clicked the file and deleted it.

The download then went without any issues.

Hope this helps with your download.

The first improvement I noticed is signal strength has improved 10 fold. I was getting Edge and now I'm getting 3G. Might just be the best improvement for me where I live.

Very good so far.. Battery lasting longer to I didn't get any problem with d vendor X cause I figure its best to shrink the OS then install it on your phone .
