I have read about that lag time with this OS more than once in different forums so I agree that it seems to be native to the v570.

I had my Wifi enabled most of the day on purpose, and also Whatsapp and MSN. Normally I close these when not using to save battery.
Thanks wilsonjs for the information about the clean install, I am going to use this method in the future too.

Not bad on the battery life.

It's doing so well, thanks a lot, I didn't have any problems regarding to the text issue, and battery life is good according to my usage, battery pulls were so helpfull too, and also the device wipe
