Instructions For Installation:


1) Install the *.exe file you just downloaded.



2) Navigate to Computer >>> C: >>> Program Files >>> Common Files >>> Research in Motion >>> Apploader



OR to Computer >>> C: >>> Program Files (x86) >>> Common Files >>> Research in Motion >>> Apploader (if you have a 64-Bit Windows Operating System)



3) Delete the file named vendor.xml



4) Connect your BlackBerry through the USB port



5) Run loader.exe



6) Follow the on-screen instructions and enjoy.


When you click NEXT after the last step, you will get a list of components that you can check or uncheck. Ensure you do not touch anything you don't know of. Also, uncheck anything you definitely won't be using.



Example, no need to install all the Instant Messaging Clients such as Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, Facebook, etc. Only install the onest you actually use to save the precious memory on your BlackBerry Device.

This OS was leaked, then went official on Telstra, but that was only an ASIAN version with not all the languages in it.

I got this Multilanguage official build from a trusted source and uploaded it.

So why isn't it on all other Carrier download sites? Here is what happened:

526 was released as a leak, next day, many carriers adopted 534 (official) and 526 got buried in the sands. Only Telstra publicly put it on their Carrier site, O2UK also assumed that 534 would be better since the version number is higher. BIG MISTAKE.

I have tried every OS released for the 9780 and can easily tell you that 526 remains my favorite. I just keep getting back to it?

Why?

534 - Crappy battery life
546 - a bit slower than 526 and unstable WiFi which keeps dropping while I am in my house near the router, radio is not great too.
570 & 576 = 2 big mistakes by RIM, these OSes should have never even been released, let alone be deemed OFFICIAL, they are full of bugs in my experience, crappy radio file, and when you press menu, you get a blank screen, until you hit back then MENU again.


526 combines excellent radio, wifi, battery life, and is a snappy OS. No wonder I upgraded and reverted back to it numerous times.

Hmmm. Thanks for the info. It has been difficult to find a good OS for the 9780. Same goes for the 9650.

I went ahead and deleted the other thread of yours you reported. lol. I figured you read the OS package version.
