Problems such as these, that can't be solved by a Batterypull, are normally caused by the loading of the OS. My route would be to firstly see if battery pull solves problem, if not reload the OS using apploader then when its reloaded, couple of Batterypulls to settle it in
I've had OS and they have been very buggy, I reloaded the same OS and they run smoother.
    Good luck

Further to my earlier posts, as to Shrinking 534. I found another shrink tool called BB Boss on crackberry. This program is the same as ShrinkAOS but more suited to OS6, its shareware, so please make a donation to these guys if you use it. It does what I do manually, without having to use maxmem or BBSAk. There are tutorials available and I recommend using them, it works I tried it. Again I must stress that the newer Devices like 9780s do not need shrunk OS they got plenty of memory, I just do it for geeky reasons. The only apps I use are notepad, filescout and BBOS launcher and BBC news, app memory has 338MB free OS 534 at a slim 137MB running all ok.
