Agreed, just finishing loading my OS now without editing anything, 275 MB load read from QuickPull. Rather ridiculous to say the least. That is also without all of my beta applications installed, 18 apps uninstalled currently 3 installed to be exact. So that is easily the most ridiculous first boot MB load I have seen so far on my device.

Another way to gain about 4-5MB is by downloading ringtones to your media card, this is normally via a zip file. You can use file scout to extract them all, then delete Ringtones Cod file from OS. That's what I do, memopad can be replaced by BB notepad which again stores your memos on the Media card.
Another issue encountered, I cannot get BB messenger 184.108.40.206 working here, does not even run for me. Installed perfectly fine, showcased in my applications, would not run. I installed BBM 220.127.116.11, tried using my 5.0 beta key [which used to work and did not on my past OS] and failed. It kept telling me field full.
I currently have beta 18.104.22.168 installed, but I loved my 6.0 look and feel. Other than that, everything is currently working fine, even though due to my lack of sense after being up for 3 days straight, I did not do a current backup and lost a months worth of emails / BBM contacts / MMS / SMS. -_-
I will be trying to use BBSak and MAXMEM later on today, I will be sure to do my backup this time. LoL
That version BBM wouldn't run on mine either it screwed up my Emails also. I gone back to 22.214.171.124
Follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a Stock BBM (126.96.36.199 seems to work well) **Don't Delete It**
2. Install BlackBerry ID app (http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2044)
3. Install BBM 188.8.131.52 (http://bb-h.me/bbm60056)
I will try those steps, but I did have a stock BBM when I first installed 526 I would imagine. Will make the attempt when I get home in around 20 or so mins.
