Thread: Issue With os6 please help me

I have bought a 2nd hand blackberry 9700(installed with leaked os6) mobile which is "made in hungry" earlier BBM service wasn't working on os6 so I got it downgrade to os5 and hack the mobile browser and everything now is working great but i am missing my os6 so i want to know, 1)if again I install a os6 official on mobile will bbm service work???? or if u have any suggestions help me because I m dying to have os6>>>>>

I'm not sure as to requirements in Hungry, but as long as you got a BlackBerry Data plan, then yes. But you can upgrade your device using any carriers OS6 software. Look in the thread on this site 'How to upgrade your OS' follow the instructions here carefully and all should be well. As I have wrote above it might depend on if you have a BB Data plan.

Like Alan said, BBM is dependent on Blackberry service in your country/region.

That's another thing I like about BBM. When I was living overseas I could BBM my friends and family in the US and it worked all the time and very fast too. I have some friends overseas now and it feels like they are right next door since we both have BBM to communicate with.

My opinion, after updating, go to options, device, advanced system settings, and host routing table. There on the list you will notice one of them is bold. Highlight it and press the berry button, then press on the register now option. After that I would resend my service books again and you should be good to go. I'm running my 9700 on .448 and work great. I was even able to shrink the OS to have more memory for apps. Try it and let me know if it worked.
