Thread: Official: OS 5.0.0.770 from i wireless findings & fixes

A few days ago 9700 users were passed down OS 5.0.0.862, however if you are the type to only install official software then, OS 5.0.0.770 from i wireless is just for you. This is the latest official release for a North American carrier. Probably not too exciting for most considering the 9700 will be receiving a form of OS6. Nevertheless, Make sure you delete the vendor file if i wireless is not your carrier. If you decide to load this up let us know what you come across in this OS compared to the rest.

24 hours of using .770 and nothing significant to report. Seems to be working well. No problems. Everything is smooth.

I had been using .862 and had many problems and needed to quickly find another option or revert to .743. Happy so far with .770.
