Too low in volume for my preference but yes it does work.

I won't keep an OS without the ability to listen to voicemails over the speakerphone at my desk. That's the reason I abandoned .593 to go back to .586.

I have not seen a noticeable difference in battery life between .586, .593 and .656. They all seem pretty similar to me.

48 hours on this OS and I gotta say I'm really liking it. Not one complaint about anything. Smooth, bug free. This .656 OS version is a keeper.

Smile Gonna Keep this one still.....

As i said only hours after installing this one, I will keep it. It has been two days since I installed this and the battery life is much much much better. With .593 i was lucky to get to 5 in the evening and have 1/4 battery left, I have 3/4 a battery and not using the phone any differently than before. I would recommend again that this be installed it is far better than .593.

Your story is just like mine. However if I switch to 2G only I can make it to the next morning, which means the radio file's 3G connection for 593 is just bonkers!

.656 is probably the best OS I've used on any BlackBerry I've owned. The longer I use this OS, the happier I am with it. No bugs, no issues. I suspect I'll keep this until 6.0 is released.

    .656 is a winner.

OS seems stable, however I suggest that you do a wipe before installing this OS as suggested by some earlier bloggers and doing a few battery pull after helps

Unnecessary. Installing any new OS wipes the device.
