    Git' er done!

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

I love the love we're getting for our model!

If anyone figures anything out on here, let other people know!

    FINDINGS

    Good
    • All language build
    • When composing an email - a list of recent recipients pops up.

    Bad
    • App store Errors with launch
    • BBOS Store Errors with launch. Fix - Uninstall, reboot 2-4 times, re-install. If it still doesn't work, play with it - it will work.
    • Some reports of bad battery life.

Just installed it, everything seem to be running OK, no errors or slow operations thus far. Response seems to be a bit quicker then .566 version i had before.

3 things that I just noticed....
I had .566 before and I couldn't do a "delete prior" in my sms folder. It would only delete the messages from that day. That seems to be fixed as I was able to delete all my sms at once just now.
BB app store and the new BBOS store do not work properly. I get a message saying "unable to connect to server" while trying to read reviews, and BB app store shuts down.
With BBOS store, I get a "java.lang" error and it won't even open up.

The rest of my apps seems to run properly.

Noticed that when composing an email the list of recent recipients pops up. This was in an older version of 5.0 and is back. Love it.

So dsutherland20 doesn't have to - everyone please post your findings in red/green for bad/good please. As you do I'll update the OP with them to help out the new guy's coming along. If we can make this a habit - it'll be MUCH easier in the future!

    586 to 593...........

everything runs good here. Can't tell any real difference from the 586 except maybe the overall volume is louder. I noticed this right away as I use the multimedia features of this phone the most..........v5.0.0.593......I'ii update if i find anything more..............oceanghost

    Few kinks

I don't post on here often but feel I should start as I have had several Blackberry's and am always checking with you guys on which OS is right and what the ups and downs are. Saying that I feel better posting my two cents since you guys are constantly giving yours and helping me out. .586 and .593 in my opinion as an everyday user and minor tinker drains the battery much much faster than .566. I have had my issues with all none more than the original that came preloaded with my T-Mobile Bold. I am reverting back to .566 for now as in my opinion it is the best fit for me. I get more than a days worth of battery and most of the apps I use never have any problems.

My battery life has been pretty solid. Getting 1.4%/hour discharge rate when idle and around 4-5%/hour with moderate to heavy use.
