After I saw this post while at work this morning two hours after it was poster I was very eager to install, wipe, load, and restore. Just as I was chomping at the bit about the 5.0.0.536 release, considering it had been two friggin' months since the last leak or official for a 9700 anywhere. I proceeded to load the os onto my att branded 9700s (which I have two of) because I dont trust most oses w my tmo 9700 considering the extra 1700mhz band which causes radio issues with alternate oses originating from other sources.

Regardless, my experiance with the 5.0.0.536 os was both good and bad. I liked the radio speed of the browser and stuff, however noticed that when making calls and switching from speaker to earpiece or bluetooth, or vice versa; I experience a delay in the GUI displaying (displaing ha) specifically the opposite of what i have active. This is quite contrary than the experience I have had on berries in the last 5yrs i been using them.

I like the speed but this issue appeared in both .536 and .545 however .545 seemed to run better wo that issue every call but it hasnt been resolved.

That is unless both of my 9700s have a simillar hardware issue (which I am hard pressed to believe considering the fact that I replace my phone as soon as I get a scratch).

So that is my summary of these two oses. If you dont often switch between earpiece and speaker in the same call, enjoy it. You will definitely like the os, all my 30 apps work, but that issue is unbearable for me (but everyone is different in usage and technique).

Anybody using Fixmo Tools after installing this latest leak, I am having an issue with it, I keep getting this message when I launch it and it is checking registration:

Server could not be reached to verify registration, please try later

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it still doing this? It's been a few hours and I'm just wondering if maybe it was some sort of server issue that may have been resolved.

i assume this build and 536 now use the lock as standby unless you have a pd set vs 442 where the lock still locked regardless of password. Im getting used to the new lock/standby feat since i use 464 on my Bold 9000 :bigeyes:

I’m wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I recently upgraded to the leak 9700 OS 5.0.0.545. Everything seems to be working fine when it comes to my apps However, whenever I receive a call from a contact listed in my phone book the phone number just displays then once the conversation is over the name of the person is listed in the call log. But other times the name it doesn’t show the name in the call log. I haven’t read anyone so far having this issue. I tried editing a phone number to include a 1 in front of the area code but still only the phone number comes up. I never had this issue before.

So Vodafone officially released the .545 but their portal on blackberry.com is getting hit HARD right now, I'm tempted to try and d/l the leak, but am wondering what if any differences from the official release and the leak are, I mean, they would be identical right, otherwise it would be a different version number...

What you guys think?

There is NO difference in .545 official or .545 leaked....545 is the same, no matter how it gets released.

I am downloading now...Will install later. Hope everything is okay.
