Thanks :hail: for the welcome to the forums of . Hope we ll have a good time. Also thanks for the link. Seems so that i ll see something pretty much without the fog now :Eyecrazy:

Some words to the os, imho it is running well stable. And it seems the first version since 5.0.0.344 which won't be losing the contact to my BIS after some hours.
At the moment after some days it seems perfect.

    Have a nice weeekend.

    Welcome to you as well

It should work, but you have to delete the vendor.xml (search for it on your PC) prior to uploading it to your berry.

If you are new to this, please check our help centre first, e.g. this how to,
and let us know, if we can be of any help!

As some pointed the difference lays in two things, language input support and also the 3G bands supported

I'm on ATT in New York, would any of these versions work "better" than another?

I think, you should be fine with any of the multi-language versions (just make sure to delete the vendor.xml from the PC).

I've been using the one from MTC Touch for my 9700. So far it is very good. Didn't notice any problem or glitches. I am downloading the eastasia from Vodafone and will install it to my wife's 9700.

She is having problems with her 423 build. apparently her BIS service dropped frequently in result she doesn't even know when data connection was lost. Hopefully this 442 will help solve this issue.

With most of my apps installed and been running for more than a week without Battery pull, on my App world, it shows I still have about 115MB space left. Which I think is really good.... because previously with the Bold 9000, all I left was about below 10MB....9700 is the BEST for now.
