Hm, and you did delete the vendor.xml? Re-sent service books and re-registered HRT?
Sure did!
Pfewww, dunno what to say, but we are digging on it! Stay tuned!
I'll stick with this one a bit longer. Changing ROM's with BB's is a bit harder than with WM because of user p/w etc. But I'm sure there was a difference with the .423 OS
Try doing a security wipe to clear out all your restored data and see if that makes a difference.
You can do it right from the phone. If you have anything that you need to save, I would recommend you do a back up. Just to be safe, as this will erase all of your personal information from the device.
Go to Options > Security > General. Then press the BB/menu button and choose Wipe Handheld. It will ask you do enter the word blackberry to confirm.
Here are some of my findings so far:
1. The restarting time take a bit longer than other/previous OS.
2. Unable to delete or edit certain contacts invited/forwarded by other users (receive via namexxx.vcf in bbm)
3. SMS message store in SIM card sometimes mixes up in bbm chat.
Does anyone here have the same problems?
If someone is after the intl. German version of it, it was just released by Vodafone

I think this os is causing a lot of problems for me, gliching after the battery goes below 15% and lagging, random spinny clock.... what do I do? I've done a wipe and reinstall... ready to trade off this phone or get rid of it or something.
Loving the new Canadian Networks.... Still feels like a total Dream, 9700 Bold is where its at.
When is tmobile gonna drop an official OS update for the 9700... i guess we'll be waiting for a while...![]()
