You guys know the drill.
You can find this beta in our Downloads Tab as well.
crazy number or leaks we are getting for the 9700. i didn't even have time to try the last one
The download is really slow right now but I hope to have another link for you all soon.
It's been said that this leak has a new Blackberry Messenger 126.96.36.199...
If anyone gets this loaded, I would appreciate some screen shots.
It is BBM 188.8.131.52
Hopefully they fixed the contacts restore feature...
OP updated with new link for download.
Some Input Supports are missing
The IM apps have been updated to .31
Still the old documentstogo
Seems like an interesting one. .405 was a step back.
Anyone have any problems with this OS thus far?
Odd problem I had on a Rogers service, a BIS connection was not being detected. I had to call in (to get access to the Rogers Blackberry BIS site, and then resend service books).
Normally the ability to send service books is right on the device, but since the BIS was unavailable, I'm assuming this was causing the problems.
We got some now. Thanks for asking.

I want to see the screenshots -
my download from the BBOS site contained no BBM cods at all.
Be one with your BlackBerry!
There is a serious issue with this OS. It completely corrupts the SMS conversations folder when you reboot.
Seems BBM related. All the threaded SMSes disappear. They're still in the DB (advanced restore), but not shown.

The way data is stored changes with this version, you cannot go back to a previous version of BBM without losing your data.
The fact that I lose my texts after a reboot may be linked to the fact that some of my messages were not in 7bit, but all I know is that it's impossible to keep them after having installed that version. A reboot corrupts the conversation DB.
I think this is something only you are experiencing. I haven't really had any issues with this OS other than the custom background glitch with the new way RIM is playing around with handling themes in Options. When I set a custom background it only applies to the homescreen and when you go to the applications screen you have a blank white background. You can fix this by resetting the themes default wallpaper under themes but as soon as you reboot the white background appears again and you have to do what I just mentioned again.
