Thanks for thinking I'm being so unique ;), but I disagree. The storage format changed and in some cases, this new BBM can mess up the DB. Could be because my DB contained errors or because I wasn't using the 7bit format. Nevertheless, it should not get corrupted in the upgrade. The only solution is to save all the messages and to start from scratch...
BBM5 is not ready, we all know that, given all the problems that plagued the previous versions (backup/restore didn't work, file transfer didn't work, etc.), but it's almost there :), they just need to make the conversion process flawless.

i checked and double checked, loaded the OS three times, the only BBM that was there was 5.0.0 and its size was 0 KB

Very well then. If you still need a version of the leaked BBM 5.0.0.52, I installed this beta and it has performed flawlessly.

hey folks.. can someone check this for me with the 415 OS on the 9700? when you go to your camera (with geotagging enabled under options), do you see a RED or GREY icon in the lower right corner?

RED = no GPS info
GREY = Picture taken will include GPS coordinates (geotagged)
