Thread: 5.0.0.371 for the 9700 Findings and Fixes

That's what I'm ttyin to figure out. I had 1 problem with .351. But easliy fixed with editing numbers. Seems this version has no fix. I've tried every form possible and none are recognized.

been running it for a day and seems snappier than rogers .351 , start up time is faster by 4 seconds , 5 mb better memory and all apps running great . batter life is better by 8% as well .

For SMS seems like the issue is when you have numbers saved with +1 prefix, I have many with just the area code and number and they all show with their names

looks like i have the myfav icon but it wont do anything anyone els have this problem. i also keep getting this error for the myfavs it keeps saying i gotta change the picture because it not compatable ????

How did you work the "battery is better by 8%" bit out .....

I noticed that my GPS takes sometime to find, this was on .330 and .351, same no differance between the two. Is this build faster on locating.

I don't know if this was already available in earlier builds, but I find myself not having to reboot to install applications.... Is it due to the way applications are written for the OS or because of the ones I have or the OS itself, I don't know, but I find this interesting

I installed .371 last night on my AT&T 9700 and so far so good. So far the only problem is that the Lotus SameTime Client 8.0.1 does not connect to the SameTime server and fails on an uncaught null pointer exception.

BES Activation was the quickest it has ever been as is the scrolling through thumbnails of my 300+ pictures.

i'll be upgrading my att tonight as well.

we'll see how my 400 contacts and tons of pictures last ..
