Thread: BlackBerry Clamshell 9670 With OS 6 Caught On Video!

Looks like the Blackberry Clamshell 9670 has finally made a video appearance! A lot of people have doubts if the clamshell style device is still a contender. I for one see it being popular in certain markets due to it's protective nature.

Thoughts?

It's a couple of embedded youtube videos.

I personally do not like clamshell devices but I have to say it looks OK.

The guy on the video shows that the menu has an option for touchscreen sensitivity.
Rather than this option being thought for a possible touch sensitive front screen I think this is the OS6 built for the 9800 which has been put on the 9670. That's why nothing happens when he selects that option.

I mean, what is the point of having a touchscreen at the front on a clamshell device? It's against the purpose of having a clamshell.

no need to always flip... same as a slider.. when you wont want to slide down you have option of on screen keyboard

You may be right (I still disagree though) but then how do you explain that the menu function does not work?

The video was taken down by RIM due to copyright violation. But this is a old video, there is plenty of videos and information on this device out there.
