    GPS on Google Maps FINALLY works on Sprint OS 4.7.1.57!

    :aargh4::1244::aargh4:

    About damn time. My radio also works A LOT better.

    So my question is, was it the actual OS/Software that fixed this issue?...or did the new OS do some kind of firmware/ROM-level update on the hardware to fix this issue?

    The reason I ask this, is if I went to another OS (5.0.x.x, etc), will my radio and GPS revert back to a state where they no longer work properly as before?

    Does this mean that us Sprint/Tour users will be bound to this OS in order to have a working Google Maps GPS and radio, and not have the ability to upgrade to any other OS (unless it was made to work to fix these issues)?
