So I selected individual DB's to restore, .230 working great, then one night I going through the options, and since I didn't retore the options DB the encryption for contacts, media files, & memory was disabled. Do you have encryption enabled in options/security/encryption?
If you do, try disabling it, see if that fixes your problem.

I'm looking through my security settings and I do not see anything specifically for encryption, but I do have Content Compression and Content Protection enabled. Under Content Protection there is an option to include Contacts which is also enabled as well as a setting for strength which is set to Strong (other options are Stronger and Strongest ). Are these the settings you were talking about?

Mine is under options - Security Options - encryption.
I just went in and enabled it again, and it has the same type of terminolgy used. Device Memory: enabled/disabled - stong/stronger/strongest Include Contacts, Include Media folder.
then another subset for Media card:
Mode and Include Media Files.

This is what I identified as my issue for the constant 5 minute reboots.
Try to disable it and see if it works.
