.230 and 5.0BBM

I read on Twitter last night that a user was able to load BBM 5.0 on .230. Actually, he loaded it on .140, upgraded to .191/.230 and reinstalled from B/U and it works. I'm not going to try it as I don't see how it could possibly work.

Any news/ideas on a BBM 5.0 leak/release that DOES work with .230 & newer?

none so far.. if that user got it working if I am willing to bet if you looked at the about screen hes got the .140 radio

I've tried this 2x on my spare tour. I repeated the steps he said he did and tried my own way and it never worked. Don't waste your time. Its on rims end. We gotta wait for BIS update

Is anybody else getting frustrate with constantly having that screen pop up to "Get Link" etc, when you open BBM???

Why is it doing this all of a sudden?

Yes it is getting rather annoying :(

From what I have been told we will keep getting this message until either RIM releases the update or turns off the notification message.
