I'd do it again in a second. This version is fast, stable, relatively bug-free (haven't found any killers yet) and very very enjoyable.

If/when .236 comes out, it takes all of 20 minutes to upgrade. All my backups restore perfectly, somehow, my device even knows when I'm going back and forth between 4.7 and 5.0 and which version of BBM to install!

    LOVIN' .230 on my Tour!

Great news, glad your loving it...Welcome to !

Not sure when we will actually see .236 but from a friend that is running it I got this "no differences between this and .230. that you will notice" So that coupled with not sure if this will get leaked anytime soon. I say give .230 shot it is probably the most stable (leaked) OS I have installed.

So I used to get mad because Blackberries couldn't switch between time zones. With the new OS it automatically asks you if you want to switch to a new time zone. I travel for work so this is nice.

Thanks for the tip! I will do it tonight. First blackberry and first upgrade. Hopefully it goes smoothly. I have tweaked 4.7.1.40 so much now. Hope it doesnt take long to get it back to how it was...

You should be fine just make sure to back up and once you upgrade just do a restore and all your settings should carry over just fine. .230 has just been rock solid for me.

Eh icon order as well, I was gonna make an app to read icon order and restore it for changing themes but then my windows computer died. I'm using my gf's to do this update. Still may make that app though...

Yes a restore will save your icon order for every theme you have installed

The app sounds cool though for those times that people might forget to back up, or when you have a corrupted back up.
