I recorded a video and I can barely hear the audio both on the computer and on the phone. Anyone else?
Bluetooth implementation in 184.108.40.206 is wacked. Presumably updates were made to address muffled call volume. Those may or may not work; I wasn't experiencing that problem. But, the new problems are:
1. When you upgrade, you may end up with a device that is "stuck" in the sense that you cannot delete it, view properties, or otherwise change it.
2. Streaming music through Media Player may be interrupted when a message is received. On the Motorola T505, the music pauses and you need to hit the Play button to resume.
3. Sometimes upon connection to the T505, the music does not play through Bluetooth. You need to fumble with the phone, open Media Player, and select the T505.
4. Regarding #3, sometimes Media Player lists the T505 twice on the menu. If you activate the right one, the music streams by Bluetooth. If you activate the wrong one, the music doesn't stream by Bluetooth.
Otherwise, I'm very happy with .230. Battery life compared to the 4.7 builds is substantially improved.
I'm having a new issue with bluetooth as well. Whenever I start the car, the Tour automatically pairs with the Ford SYNC system. This has worked very well all along. With .230, every time the BlackBerry pairs with the car, the media player automatically starts playing some random file off the storage card. Same thing happens whenever I hang up from a phone call - all of a sudden I have music that was not playing previously. I finally found an option in BlueTooth that may have contributed. I disabled that, and I think it's fixed - will find out in the morning. Never had to do this before, though.
This would save me the annoyance of restarting Media Player in shuffle mode after every restart/quick pull.
Anyone get this one? I upgraded to 230 from a clean Sprint 40. I still had a media icon with all the assorted media icons inside. However, the label/title on the icon is net_rim_bb_file_explorer.Media.
I also have a Files icon inside my download folder. Didn't have that one before.
Maybe this has already been reported but I have the latest revision of Facebook (downloaded yesterday) and it is sometimes freezing under 220.127.116.11.
Another finding.. this has happened to me twice.. the screen drawing messes up sometimes... vertical is fine.. horizontal sometimes draws the right-most lines in the middle of the horizontal axis. I had this happen in the Media Player and in the Blackberry browser.
Another weird issue - when using Google's search app, I can't scroll below the second item on the list. When scrolling down, it highlights the first seach result, then the second, but it will go no further. Hard to say if the fault lies with the OS or with the Google App. Have deleted and reinstalled the app, but the issue remains. Hoping that .236 or whatever is next to leak fixes some of these issues. There are enough of these little issues surfacing to make 18.104.22.168 look to be a better option.
Another Bluetooth/Moto T505 whine... sometimes when I connect to the T505 and hit play on the T505, I start rockin' in my pocket (speakerphone) instead of the music streaming through the T505.
does berrybuzz work with this build?
There is an open beta currently running for buzz that is 5.0 friendly on the storm and bold. Which were having issues.
The LED does but not the sound profiles. They are still working out some of the newly developed bugs.
Try the version you have if it doesn't work I'll get the beta for you.

Anyone come across the conference call option missing from the menu while on a call?

If I wasn't waiting for a refurb I would have changed over already. I will be running .230 or better depending when my new device comes in.Originally Posted by number1techie

Bellshare - Premium Blackberry Apps
I just loaded it on my Tour with .230 on it and it works like a charm. Also, BB App World is working as well. For those of you that have a TiVo, there is an app for that as well that works will .230.
