The song literally resets back to beginning on tour. Never had this happen in media player on any other BB Never heard of it before on any other BB..

I thought i was installing .142 But it was .42
No worries, my wife said it has faster response time. Boot time is still a pain in the rear. It froze one time yesterday. Says it has a bit better signal too.

So far .42 runs pretty smooth, though it seems to slow down when scrolling icons in the secondary screen and the BB menu button response is slower than in .40 (official).

This could be how it works out with my Theme though, using Tour Cipher Sidebar Extreme.

Well, I tried .42 and really didn't see / notice any difference in performance compared to .40. But, I did get a few random re-boots with .42--two when speed dialing. Never had this problem with .40.

Sooo, wiped and went back to .40 last nite.

At least for my 9630, .40 has been a rock solid OS, which is really nice coming from the Storm (fun loading hybrids, etc., but...).

Started to have problems with .140 went back to 4.7 but can't leave well enough alone. Finally got .42 to load and it is alot more responsive on my Tour than the factory .40. I like it glad I upgraded. Now if I can get past the issue of .191 not loading.
