No Lightning Bolt When Charging?
Installed 5.xxx.191 (after wiping) without issue. Seems to run well, altho so far I'm not seeing a real difference in speed compared to 4.7.140. But, it's only been a couple of hours.
I have noticed that I'm not getting the little lightning bolt thru the battery level icon on the home screen when the phone is (hopefully) charging. Just me, or is this a new feature?

I changed my trackball sensitivity to 90 for the horizontal and it seems much better. Thank you

I just upgraded my Tour to OS .191 and everything is working perfectly. The apps that I had counted on (Antair Spam Filter, FastForward, etc.) as well as the phone and email service are working perfectly. Most important of all the trackball lag is gone and the processor response time is much faster. I am very happy with this upgrade.

just tried again for the hell of it. Used a laptop with a clean install of XP Pro only thing on it was DM5 and .191. No USB devices plugged in except the BB, and the laptop was plugged in to the charger not running off battery. Deleted the vendor file. Wiped the BB launched the loader and....... no go.

Now I installed 140 by mistake on my main laptop and installed it onto my BB. Oh well I'm not in the mood to drop back down to 4.7 so its going to stay till tomorrow.
But I am out of ideas. There is no reason why it shouldn't work. It might end up through a wall before its said and done. :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4: :aargh4:

Maybe. Fact is, at least on my Tour, 4.7.140 ran very, very well (after coming from a Storm). No lag, no issues. The performance of that OS will be difficult to improve upon. But, new features / interface are another thing, as 4.7 could do with a bit of a face lift and I don't like running 'aftermarket' themes.
