Thread: OS 5.0.0.191 spotted in the wild for Blackberry Tour!

A buddy of mine that owns a Tour sent me these pics last night of his Tour running OS 5.0.0.191! I of course got on the phone right away and asked him some questions, so I could better let our members know what to expect down the road.

First of all this OS is very stable and all his 3rd party apps works (except BB App world), he doesn't use Facebook so couldn't tell me.

This build does include threaded sms text messaging (see screen shot below). And is very cool and easy to use.

You will also see a new screen when you download a theme asking if you want to enable it (see screen shot below)

Battery and memory are excellent on this build.

It does have to cool 5.0 boot up screen and the boot up time has been cut down to 2 minutes 30 sec!

so what the difference between this os 5.0.0.191 and 5.0.0.140 ?

Its because of me Bryan, isn't it? My hotter half was just complaining.... As usual... Oh ya... She loves bbm 5.0 to talk to me but now hates sms to talk to our daughter for this exact reason... She would love you Bry, if you hooked her up... This actually looks pretty cool and the things that don't work, really makes no diff. Great find bra..

Thanks from all accounts this sounds like one hell of a build! I don't use app world so that wouldn't bug me one bit :lmao:

apparently threaded sms is a difference
