Loading as we speak. Although I have heard the same.

It appears that this OS has BBM 5.0 preinstalled.

I'm not liking it. Can't get bbm to show up. Really glitchy with my theMe. Prolly heading back to .40.

This build has problems with BBM 5.0 not working. Via cods or OTA. It was loaded on about 6 different device week or so ago. None worked.

i had only two problems. bbm and app world. everything else was amazingly smooth and fast. specially the browser. by alot. for the life of me i couldnt get bbm to show up. i even deleted it completely off the phone through applications. did a hard reset. and chaged the 5.0 files to the old bbm files on my computer loaded it up and it still wouldnt show. but according to the apps it was on the phone. just nowhere to be found. and tried sending myself messages from another phone and it said it was delivered but i never got em. so now im sitting on the stock os awaiting the new hybrid.

I just bought a Tour and its so much better than the Storm i had. I really dont have have any current problems with it and have several 3rd party apps working fine. However i like to stay up to date with my OS. Is it worth it to update to 5.0 or stay where im at?

You need to download the TOUR VERSION 4.7 via OTA in order for it to work with this os. This has been discussed in detail when the same issue cropped up with the Storm 140 OS.

im downgraded now but. i tried several ways could not get bbm to show up. i deleted bbm5 completely did a hard reset. and then made sure it was gone. then i downloaded stock bbm it said it was successfully installed. still no icon. so i did another reset. send service books reg. bb and still nothing. and the old bbm was in my app folder but no icon. i just got to aggravated to keep going so im back to stock.

I would stick with the official OS and not upgrade to the leaked 5.0 OS.

I agree. complete garbage.

upgraded this morning right before lunch went to lunch and played with it.

BBM didn't work
beejive didn't work
a lot of the stock icons were just white square
app world didn't work
and a couple other apps didn't work

downgraded as soon as I got back from lunch

maybe a hybrid will come out soon that will fix a few issues

oh and it didn't seem to fix the trackball issues

this build is working relatively good for me. the only issue i have is my phone will vibe constantly if someone calls me and requires a reset to stop it
