Great to see a couple of feature improvements even though I don't use them... but yay we have a new OS... loading mine now.
Was almost about to shelve the Tour... thought its days were regrettably over.
Fix to "t" Issue?
I'm using a Tour 9630 (which I suppose is obvious considering this is the forum announcing a new OS release for the Tour, eh? <grin> ) Anyway, sometimes when I am typing replies to text messages, I have two problems when typing the letter "t". 1. Sometimes, the cursor jumps out of the reply box and jumps to the top of the text messages (which is the appropriate behavior for typing a "t" outside of the reply box, but not typing within the reply box). 2. Sometimes, the letter t jumps to the right when I type the next letter and then is beneath the cursor and gets pushed to the right as I continue to type. Anybody else ever have this problem? I think it's an OS5 problem because I don't recall having it when I had OS4.7. Is this issue fixed in the latest OS release? If no one else is having the problem, maybe it's my Tour? Maybe there's just something wrong with the letter "t"? (although the behavior seems more like a software issue). BTW, it stopped fora while after I installed crunchSMS and started using that instead of the native SMS application, but after a while, I started having issues with the letter "t" in crunchSMS as well (mostly the second problem). Any suggestions? Thx. -Rich
