Please let us know if you receive the OTA update early. Here is a list of enhancements as well.

-Improved audio when accepting a Push to Talk call from a
mobile contact.

-Placing the speaker volume on silent will no longer affect the
earpiece volume when placing a Push to Talk call.

-Updating your device software will no longer disable Push to Talk.

-Device enhancements made when switching from a CDMA to
GSM network.

-Trackball response is no longer affected by launching Push to Talk
while Web browsing.

-Setting a contact alert in the sound profiles application now only
requires one click to save.

-Open voice-mail messages from the text message application
with no issues.

-GlobalAccess Connect support.

-For international Internet access, you can tether your smartphone to a notebook.

Spell checker here: the sub lead paragraph misspell for suite, should be suit?

unless you are a "push to talker" there doesn't seem to much to this update. Plus dealing with all the Apps you have to start over with.....:cool2:

Great to see a couple of feature improvements even though I don't use them... but yay we have a new OS... loading mine now.

Was almost about to shelve the Tour... thought its days were regrettably over.

I'm using a Tour 9630 (which I suppose is obvious considering this is the forum announcing a new OS release for the Tour, eh? <grin> ) Anyway, sometimes when I am typing replies to text messages, I have two problems when typing the letter "t". 1. Sometimes, the cursor jumps out of the reply box and jumps to the top of the text messages (which is the appropriate behavior for typing a "t" outside of the reply box, but not typing within the reply box). 2. Sometimes, the letter t jumps to the right when I type the next letter and then is beneath the cursor and gets pushed to the right as I continue to type. Anybody else ever have this problem? I think it's an OS5 problem because I don't recall having it when I had OS4.7. Is this issue fixed in the latest OS release? If no one else is having the problem, maybe it's my Tour? Maybe there's just something wrong with the letter "t"? (although the behavior seems more like a software issue). BTW, it stopped fora while after I installed crunchSMS and started using that instead of the native SMS application, but after a while, I started having issues with the letter "t" in crunchSMS as well (mostly the second problem). if it occurs in both SMS and CrunchSMS its the phone...take it back!

I upgraded from the .643 OS to the .732 and have only had endless issues:

Phone Locking up
Locking up on calls when SMS texting
Long delays. upgrading to the .643 today
