I come from the windows mobile world so I have an idea about flash ROMS or installing a new OS. Real new to blackberry so can someone explain to me what a HyBrid OS is? I get the official and the leaked OS, but no clue on Hybrid

Hello jskoland... Welcome to ::bbos:: you will love the atmosphere here. Hybrid Makers will take a few different OS's and combined them all into one. Hybrids have proven to be better then leaked and official OS's IMO.
A hybrid is where our crack team (of RIM wishes they worked for them) OS builders take past and present files from all blackberry os's and mix them up into one hell of an operating system we can actually work with and enjoy. I highly recommend anything form Lyricidal.Quote:

Thank you everyone for the quick response. I bought the tour last weekend but now that the 9650 Bold came out on verizon I am thinking about exchanging the tour for the bold simply for WiFi and more memory. Any reason not to do this. On a side note I cannot believe for years I used such an inadequate phone compared to the blackberry. This phone is so much better
No reason at all...its all personal preference. BB is an amazing phone. I'm glad that you have come across our site to make it even better!
