OS 18.104.22.1688 for the 9630 Findings & Fixes
This is a nice way to start a Friday. The guys over at BBleaks decided that the last 9630 Tour leak just didn't have what it takes. Our members here at BBOS have had a tough time with 22.214.171.1240 for the Tour. This build is OS 126.96.36.1998. That's a nice step up the ladder.
For you Tour owners that load this build, be sure to let us in on the details.
Warning: Please remember that this IS NOT an official release OS. If you wish to install this OS keep in mind that this may cause your phone to not function correctly. Well, up and running with 548. Install was smooth and quick. gained about 6 meg in memory right off the bat. Running a roaming update now.
I'll report more as I notice.
Update: soft reset is at 6 minutes and counting...umm...finally finished in 8 minutes...well that's unfortunate to say the least...
Update 3a: second soft reset only took about 4 minutes.
Update 2: native browser speed for surfing and downloading seems to fluctuate slightly.
Update 3: still doesn't play well with Meterberry; scheduled resets need addl confirmation
Update 4: OK, this is kinda cool. Tasks integrate with calendar, NOW with controls, i.e., "Mark Completed," "Mark in Progress," etc.

Reason: Update 4
Loaded fine, Berrybuzz works, as does Berryweather, QuickLaunch, Ubertwitter, Google Sync, Slacker, Assistant Premium, AppWorld, Vlingo, Teather, alert, QuickPull, SmrtGuard, Google Voice, BerryJoose..... and others
No Holster reboot as with .530
I'm real interested to see if this goes official. I've been using .419 since it came out and its been as rock solid as I can imagine OS get. With all the crap that .484 and .530 had wrong with them I'm gonna be checking back to see how this works for fellow BBos community.

It took on my Bell Tour. Quickpull worked most of the time (had to tell it to reset a few times) and handled nice and steady. Of course the one app I use the most - Slingplayer - wouldn't display video in version 1.02 or 1.11 so I am reverting back to OS 4 until a fix for it comes down the pipe :-(
Too bad, this build really did seem nice and was fast.
I was all excited to install this today, but MegaUpload is saying the download link is invalid. Is it just me, or is the file no longer there? Does anyone have a mirror?
Edit: Found a mirror posted by oliv2915 over at CB

So far, so good. I updated yesterday afternoon form 484. Soft reset at bedtime left me at 102 for available memory, 12 hours later I'm at 101.6 but have not used my Tour very much. MeterBerry will no longer do automatic resets during the night, it requires an additional confirmation. DocsToGo 2.0 Sync with desktop works, it did not with 530. Everything else also seems to work fine. I'm not seeing any big differences yet compared to 484, except the PPT files. Compared to 530 its missing the automatic reset when you holster your phone .
running this OS with the 3gtour Theme the screen that shows all the icons has a white background no wallpaper. never happened before.
Do you still have to hit r to reply to a sms that has just arrived? I really hope that this is fixed... I would rather just start to type.
I'm loving 548... I had to roll back from 530 to 484 after the holster and berrybuzz resets... but 548 is great. no issues at all for 3 days.
Reboots are fine... its always too long, but I don't find I need to do them often... once every 2 days maybe when i remember. I found shrink-os seems to speed the load time up a bit...
BerryBuzz, BerryWeather, MeterBerry all behaving nicely, but I don't auto-start with Meter berry. However I've had different success with MeterBerry on different installs... not necessarily the OS release... just something to do with permissions or our BES when i install.. its not fully trusted. Still better than Quickpull I reckon.
So loving 548....
Having not seen a lot of replies on this leak leaves me to wonder how many people have tried this build yet. I've been running the .530 since release with zero issues so I'm wondering what has been improved with this one. Would hate to switch from an os that finally hasn't giving me lag or problems.

I'm still on .419 and haven't upgraded to 530 due to the issue folks had. This one seems more stable but not much discussion about it.
I've been running it for a couple days with no problems, I can use my holster again! Upgrade from 530 went seamless, reactivation on the bes went smooth.
This OS has made my wife's Tour run the best it ever has!!
works great for me 48 hrs in only downside no German language support
again i will ask, do you still have to hit r to reply to an sms upon first opening?
I don't have to hit 'r' to reply to a sms but then again I don't think I've ever had to on any of the builds.
my reception bars keep fluttering from no reception where there is clearly perfect reception to actually registering the fact i have awesome reception....what gives
