Vendor.xml is a file that usually contains some code that prevents an OS from being installed onto a phone that is from a different carrier than the OS is intended for. It's easy enough to get around this by simply deleting the file(s). However with leaked OS's, the vendor.xml file is usually blank. I would not worry about this unless Desktop Manager or App Loader fails to see the new OS.

I've reverted to 484 due to a confirmed BerryBuzz reset... most often about 3 lines into an email.
I went from 419 to 530 to 484. The holster reboots, MeterBerry issues, and Docs to Go not syncing was to much for me. I had not tried 484 previously because everyone was saying 419 was the same/better. The phone was wiped anyway so I gave 484 a shot. 3 days into it I think 484 is great.
Sorry I know its a 530 thread... but I have to second that... I skipped 484... I've gone back to it.. and mch happier than I was with 530. I hate not being on the latest ... but I can only take so many mid-email resets.
