Thread: OS 5.0.0.419 for the Tour 9630 Findings & Fixes

The year has just begun and we are seeing another leak for us to try out. The wait is over: OS 5.0.0.419 has just been leaked for the 9630 Tour by BBLeaks. Another significant jump from the 5.0.0.303. Just in time after e.g. all the happy storm 9550 users even got their .428. So enjoy, and tell us your experience with this new OS, our Tour friends deserve a stable 5.0 finally, don't they?

Any of those in the know that can chime in. is this a good one? At least as good as 230? Im tired of that one. Feels dated... Want tabbed browsing.

I guess too many users try to DL at the same time...

Tabbed browsing won't be any time soon (you would've seen it in numerous releases from the 9700, 95xx, etc.)

But keep dreaming.

I'm drooling waiting for a valid download link! We have 2 tours both running .230 and one of them constantly gets the Reprovisioning message (Sprint). Please oh please let this be a good release :aargh4:

Edit: Why aren't these done as torrents ever? I'd seed it.

Torrents are to easy to spread virus's and most people shy away from them, and I am sure we and everyone else will have a mirror up ASAP

I received an alert on Twitter from CrackBerry for OS 5.0.0.419 I opened it up, could not download the file. Then went to the forum discussion and it linked me to a discussion from last month about the 303 leak. I then reopened CrackBerry and the whole post is gone. Also, I have not received anything from BB O/S Alert, I think there is something fishy going on.

Waiting for reviews before loading.

Just keep refreshing the megaupload page and download link will come up. Busy downloading at the momment. Seems to be an issue on the site.
