yes that it doesI wouldn't be surprised if you start seeing leaks for the essex before to long. It would appear that rim has stopped working on the tour.
Judging by the HUGE lag present in messaging with this device one could assume RIM can't fix it.
What's it been 3 months now if were not including that mess of an os they called 5.0.0.273
On a positive note though they are all gsm devices so this beta tester clearly might not know when or what os's are set for us.

Fear not.
They have not stopped working on our beloved tour. They still are pressing through the issues. If their is anyone to blame for this I'm pretty sure they'll have a "map" for that.

When the Essex does come out, wouldn't it typically be the same OS 5.x.x.x as the Tour? Aren't they merely adding Wifi and a touch pad?

yes but look at the 9530 .328 and 9550 320, or the 8330 still on 4.5 and the 8530 with 5.0 and nothing more than a trackpad and wifi.Originally Posted by pkarr
