Thread: 5.0.0.230 with Vendor.xml

Anyone get it to load with out deleting the vendor.xml file

I tried it for sh*ts and giggles and it went through.

Always had to delete it for past OSs so I'm just curious is there any side effect?

Of course it will load the issue is now it will not recognize any other os's from any other vendor.

What you will need to do is search your pc for that vendor file and delete it and any operating system's on your pc.
Then you will need to wipe and reload the device with a fresh os.

It's not the end of the world but vendor files cause more headaches then they are worth.
