I loaded this yesterday and i'm pleased with it. BBM issues are non-existent. I hated .607 because of BBM and very slow browser. i dropped back to .517 which was okay but very laggy. I haven't found any issues yet with .713. It Runs really smooth on my Verizon S2. I didn't stay on .607 very long I can't compare.
Some one want to start a finding and fixes thread. I've noticed that S2 leak OS and official OS don't have much discussion. Probably because there are not any performance issues the device itself over the S1. S1 owners are wanting to squeeze every ounce of performance they can out of it. And there are probably less S2 owners than there were S1 when it came out.

I'm collecting data on this OS so if there is a Finding thread i'll post what I find.

Second full day on 713 and no complaints. Fast (it doesn't read minds yet, but it's getting closer!), Memory seems to be holding fine. No theme problems that I've been able to notice and I go through plenty of theme changes. Can't help it, I'm addicted.

Web speed seems to be better. I ran 607 and then some of the later hybrids and I think 713 is better. Of course that's from my view. Wifi is better from what I've seen. Sound quality is fine. I use a Jawbone Icon and it's always been a little tinny and 713 has improved on that, but just a little, not huge.

Overall the last two days have been pretty solid. I really use the @#$#$# out of my phone, both data and voice (think constant conference calls to make plans for all future conference calls :-() and it's holding very solid. With the hybrids I noticed a couple of issues, but chocked it up to the hybrid.

If you're on the fence, get off, I'm really liking this release and we might see VZW take this one to an official release. Check back in the forums, I called 607 as an official release days before it came out. I'm seeing the same results on this one that makes me think VZW might just like this one also. They could wait until 6.0, but 713 seems good enough.

Updates as I notice them, but I've got to tell you, when it works, you don't notice much other than it works. That's a good thing. :-)

I agree with everyone .713 is a far better build, however FOR ME the browser seems a tad bit slower than some of the hybrids.Other than that this really is a nice OS, and like everyone said the memory does hold up pretty good.

My battery held at 1.2% per hour without me using it. Running berryweather, meterberry, Custom theme,& twitter. With frequent use I'm at 4.5 % per hour. Battery holds pretty strong. I'm a heavy user anyway. My battery doesn't last more than a day anyway.

Download speeds are strong as well. One of the faster radio builds i think.

I agree the browser is slow. but has been with every official release or leak that I have used. Hard to compare when all are slow. lol

    Concern

My only concern with both .607 and .713 is that they don't seem to work very well with some themes. For example, I purchased BBOS6 theme by BT Design and it works just fine on .517, yet, on the .607 and .713 the date (if it is longer) goes over the clock (time). Now, I noticed that in .517 font was smaller and this didn't happen. I don't know why the font in this particular theme is bigger on .607 and .713. Also, this theme worked much smoother on .517. I guess what I am saying is that if you have this theme, you might want to stay with .517. I am still observing if the same issue will happen with some other themes. Comments and suggestions welcomed. Thank you.

I'm running this theme as well on .713. its a nice theme. It makes me want BB6 more and more. I did notice the date overlapping. I didn't know that i works on .517. Maybe the developer can resize the date and it work for both. I know thats a simple change. but maybe they will fix it because of Verizon's official .607.

I liked .517 a lot, but the lag was getting more & more noticeable. .713 has, so far, no lag.

I found that the virtual keyborad did not pop up in group message and some program. Did anyone face this problem too?

He's referring to Group messaging, and .713 did not fix that issue. New BBM does though.

I'm telling you ...lol, My Keyboard in BBM chats and BBM group chats work. That was the reason I didn't stay on .607.

I can press the keyboard button or press in the text input area and my keyboard pops up (in chats and groups chats) and i can swipe downwards to hide the keyboard (in chats and groups chats)

now, I have heard of a few people that the BBM keyboard worked in .607. Maybe because I upgraded from .517 to .713 and not wiped my device first, prevented the issues. Its worth a try.

Update: Oh, And my mistake, I'm running the latest BBM leak-5.0.0.66

Does anyone here know what cods I have to BBSAK in to get BT volume up to highest possible?
I like 428 and have tried to do just the BT cod but that alone does not do it.
    TIA

What issues are you having with the bluetooth? I will try to duplicate it.
