IMO SaskTel OS 5.0.0.517 is so far the best radio for my S2. Not to mention throwing OOAKPC .571 patch to add a Lil flavor to your device. I have tried some of the other patches he had used and .571 was exceptionally better.

It's already April. With the S3 probably coming out in October I would wait.

Also agree that the .517 is best. I use it stock though, I have found hybrids increase the boot time too much for me.

Good point. If its a situation where u can get the S2 without a contract go for it. If not D maybe rite.

Nah Im not getting it on contract. I just want another Blackberry

I like pretty much everything Driphter puts out over at http://www.driphter.com. I'm behind the curve though, I'm still on Dv8 I think and he's up to 10 something now. For a while I was wiping and reinstalling every week. To be honest, reactivating all my applications just got really old. LOL

In my experience though those hybrids have been nothing but stable and quick. Worth a try to be sure!

I have used alot of OS/hybrids, and like others I got tired of wiping, loading and activating. I went to .603 official, but downgraded because of the problems IMO .517 is the best. It is stable, no problems with bluetooth, good battery, good radio, and just as quick if not quicker than .603
