The guy's over at CrackBerry have discovered some new leaked treasure. Showing some love for you Storm 2 9550 owners! A new OS leak 5.0.0.607 is up for download. There haven't been any huge reports on the changes and/or updates so please install this at your own risk.

Findings!

Good:
- BBM is included in the core files.
- Faster scroll/flick
- Smoother response
- Opening applications is quicker
- Memory holds well
- Long battery life
Bad:
- RSA SecurID Keyboard doesn't show
- BBM Group Chats Keyboard doesn't show
- Shazaam doesn't work

Wow, just days after I finally take the leap off the official .328 train lol. Can we see the findings in the OP? Like Green for good and Red for bad?

As people report it - I'll update the OP with findings and fixes in Green and Red. I think that will help people a lot. I'll check back in in about 3 or 4 hours (School) to update it.

I agree. They did this a while back when 5.0 was finally breaking but as of late have stopped. It's a bit tedious having to troll the thread for everyone's reports.

Can anyone tell me if it has the new push to talk feature. Maybe this one will have it since Verizon is offering it free to other Blackberry smartphones. That would be great. I can only hope. please let us know if it's part of this build. Thanks

You would only get PTT on Verizon I believe. If you're not on Verizon no PTT. Im pretty sure it has it because I've been seeing the PTT files in the OS for the 8900 5.0.0.544 and I just dled the 9700 OS too.

Wow what a treat my new 9550 is scheduled to arrive today. Damn now im gonna have to choose between the palm pre+ and eris and now the storm 2 to use. Decisions LMAO

As far as Blackberry devices go, PTT is currently only available on the Tour.

Is it just me or do the letters on the suretype keyboard seem a little smaller? Something looks different.

Downloading now. Everything I have upgraded my S2 (three times now) battery and memory usage has jumped dramatically in performance.
