I've read about a lot of issues or or negative reviews, not sure how it can be the best leak?

So Far I haven't had a single freeze or mishap with this OS so IMO it's one of the best leaks we have had recently for this phone..

I agree, my keyboard is awesome, Battery life is great... so in my opinion this is a SICK leak :duh:

I agree!

One thing i noticed was when i went into the advanced options, sim card enable the keyboard and type in mepd, nothing happens whereas before you were able to see if the device was locked or unlocked

I have the same problem but with a contact on my list not groups. Also it only happens when I open the chat from my messages not my bbm list. I did a battery pull the first time and then the opposite happened. Worked from message list and not bbm list. Only seems to happen to one contact which sucks cause its my girlfriends so thats the one I use the most. Not sure what is causing it but I can live with it since I hardly ever respond to bbm from my message list.

For those that aren't sure the glitch we are talking about. If you click on the text input field or menu show keyboard nothing happens at all. The option will change between show/hide but keyboard never shows up. Everything else on the OS I'm loving so far so this doesn't bother me at all. Also the one time I did have the issue with the keyboard while opening chat from bbm list I just cleared the chat and started a new one and it worked so didn't need to do a battery pull to fix that.

I have had some issues with keyboard not showing at all for bbm but mine seems to be particular for 1 contact only and only if I open the chat from my messages folder not bbm list. Only didn't work once from my bbm list and I just closed that chat and started a new one with the person and it worked fine.

I also just experienced with a glitch in Opera mini 5 just now as well. Was logging into a website and when I clicked off the text field the keyboard went a away but the line above it with the back/forward arrows remain and I couldn't scroll or click anywhere below that line even though the keyboard was missing. If I rotate to portrait it fixes but thats annoying.

anyone try this on tmo to see how the radio file is with EDGE?

I'm happy with this build. battery life increased big time over .517. Only thing I don't like is that AutoLock doesn't work with this build just as it didn't in .517. I have to assume that it's because they changed the functionality of the lock feature. Does anyone know of a lock program that works with this build that will lock the phone automatically after the back light goes out?

I use pattern lock 2.0 now. Works with lock key and when screen times out as well.

I don't know about all the problems, but for me, this OS is the best release/leak so far.

All the positive findings are holding true for me and I've yet to experience any of the negatives. This OS just feels rock solid and I wouldn't be surprised if Big Red didn't release it as official.

However, time will tell, but I'm thrilled with my short first impression so far. I haven't found any reason not to upgrade.

I have found some issues. Hopefully ya'll can help me fix them. PatternLock and MeterBerry will not fully activate. I am having permission issues. Here is the kicker, I am on BES. The upside is, I am an admin on the server, so I can go and create an IT policy or make any adjustments if I need to.

One issue I am finding is under permissions my options are either Prompt, Deny, or Prompt (yes, that is how they are bolded on the Storm.)

ANY ideas would be greatly accepted. I REALLY need to get patternlock back and I figure if I can get patternlock to work Meterberry will kick in as well.

I'm on a BES also and have not had any issues with MeterBerry. For connections and user data I have the options; Allow, Default or Deny. For interactions mine will always stay at custom.

If you don't mind, can you compare your settings to the ones I am seeing on my device and let me know where they are different?

Under “Edit Permissions” Connections are set as follows:

Not sure why you are not able to change some of your settings.

Found it! It is under "Application control Policy for unlisted applications". That is where my "prompt" and "deny" were coming from. We just adapted them to allow and we were ready to go!

One difference in this leak is SMS list of messages now appears in the hidden today area when the SMS icon is touched or pressed. I used to have only calendar entries in the hidden today, but now have SMS messages as well. I have tried several themes all with the same results.

Does anyone know if this can be changed? I would like to eliminate SMS messages from appearing in the way.

Other than this, I am liking this leak so far.

Idk how everyone is getting better life on the battery? I think its worst then in .517 someone please shine some light

I just loaded .607 this morning (after I'd loaded Lyricidal's .604 hybrid last nite--sheeesh). It runs very smoothly.

I've found that battery drain on my S2 is very erratic the first couple days after installing a new OS, then settles in/stabilizes (either good or not so good) thereafter.
