Thread: With all these leaks and no reports?

Whats goiing on? Is everyone getting tired of updating their BB's? All these new hybrids and no one is reporting anything? Whats up?

HaHa...probably hard to keep up !!...throw in multiple hydrids and frequent upgrades too..and I sometimes gotta wonder what I'm running !!! :biglaugh:

Some of us don't have one yet.. :P So it's easy for us to keep track!

It is hard to keep up! I'm running 5.0 (thanks BBOS!) on my 8330 and Telus just let me know a newer 4.5 was now available!

I do have one question, Hybrids? How do I know I should get one or be using it??

If your happy just with stock OS's on your device stay with them but if you want to play with your BB and have it slightly different to the run of the mill then try a hybrid.

I am running a great hybrid, the Storm 1 has limited memory to some of the newer devices so this enables me to have more space and take out the rubbish i dont use/need (like voice activated dialing) but its a personal choice.

If you are happy with official or leaked OS stay with them. If you want to try a hybrid go for it.

Remember, you can always return a BB to an official OS later if you are not happy, or something is not working how it should be.

Its hard but possible to brick it so follow the How To guides on .

They do help a lot.

I'd much rather be trying to keep up with all the leaks and releases and not getting any at all.

I am sure there would be loads more reports if there were any DRM leaks released, but there haven't been for a while.

I am not really that interested in hybrids because it doesn't upgrade the OS itself, just the appz - and that is just asking for problems... IMO.

Last weekend, I just sold my VF-DRM-crap and switched to a no-harassment, NoDRM 9520.
Bye, bye VF! Never, ever will I even consider to use anything from you!
