Thread: Pinch Zooming on S2

I would like to place a request to all the Hybrid Gods for one feature that I would love to see on the S2. The Iphone certainly has it, The motorola Droid has it and I think the Htc Eris may have it as well. If any Hybrider can come up w/this feature, I would be a Lifer for the Storm and be a very very very very happy Berryan.. Yes, am talking about "Pinch Zooming". One of my boiz at Verizon has 2.1 on the Moto Droid and has Pinch zooming (Its sik). My other boi has the Iphone and I played w/the pinch zooming and I was hooked on it. SO come on, Crackman, OOAK, Ir, Sean,..put us on please...:hail::hail::hail::hail:

Not sure if a hybrid maker could do this, but Im sure an app maker could....hmmm maybe bellshare, I'm sure they are up for it.

I'm taking a AP Java course in Highschool (as a senior) (attending right now) as my final project I'll need to create something. I'll keep this in mind as I don't have to make it for another 3 or 4 months..

TY for responding and i think you're right about the app maker..Its probably an extremely hard feature to finagle but we'll see..

Try searching Google for app maker sites... Not to long ago I ran across one for iPhones...

It was like iPhoneappideas.com or something. Where people would give ideas for apps and stuff. If you find one for BB you can try that.

BerryWeather has pinch zooming already for its maps so there has to be someone out there that could figure this out.

Bellshare would be the people to check with on this... Hybrid builders wouldn't have this at their hands, being as its not written into the os currently. If they were to get adventurous and make an app that was incorporated in to the build... Then you would have what your asking for. Maybe if Bellshare incorporated this into their berryscroll, they might be able to revive that app! Just a thought...
