Thread: JAVA Folder .484

Try this out, Its like making your own Hybrid, heres what I did...



I installed .428 to PC
I then installed a .464 Hybrid -- http://www.bbhybrids.net/downloads.p...d=859&act=down

Then I copied the .484 Java folder OVER the Java folder in Shared -- http://the-nags.com/driphter/Sprint_Tour_Update484.rar

Used Shrink-A-Os
Installed Using BBSAK -- (If you dont use BBSAK to install, make sure to delete Vendor File --- BBSAK automatically deletes the Vendor file if you use it to Load OS)

Its almost done installing, Ill let you know! TRY IT OUT!

Ive been working on my own Hybrid but then this dropped --- so Im starting over -- I figured this was a cool way for people to put something together on their own --- Ill let you guys know when I have a final OS put together !

Its def working already, working great --- I know OOAKDPC has a Hybrid out there already but why not try this ?!

sweet! well done. I think most of the hybrid guys go more in-depth than this (choosing individual files, and such) but if this is working, it is another avenue to play on.

I agree, however, I wonder how they can pick some of these files. The .464 browser is really fast, however, .484 just dropped, so how can you decide whats best? I know that the .451 Virtual Keyboard file is the best so far...wishing a new radio file would come out though :-)

This Hybrid I created that you all can all install yourself is very very similar to what OOAKDPC came out with right after I posted this --


Ive been pursuing creating Hybrids --- heres a quick taste of whats to come--- this was a HUGE shortcut to doing what I wanted to do by just using other Hybrids with similar .cods I was looking at--- I was going to give you an individual .cod count but I will have to start over tomorrow -- I Shrank already so Ill start over tomorrow --- plus, I need to find a place to Host my Hyrbids ---- I know I will be new to the Hybrid scene, but dont underestimate an up-in-coming --- And I promise, I am not being jerky here, Ive been working on a Hybrid for a bit now, then .484 just dropped so I figured Id throw out this easy way of doing it ---- Ill be fine tuning

Any ideas on file hosting, let me know! ---- GOing to look into where Lyrics uploads his!

Glad you like ! If you followed the instructions, then you have a hybrid that is fast and close to what I'm building ! Wait until I drop mine! Stay tuned !

battery life is stellar so far ! Which is a welcomed change for a 9550 hybrid!

Thanks man. So far I havemt had any typing lag , I mean none! Its still in its settling stage so we will see. All I need to do is find a place to upload my hybrid and it will be ready Friday night. PM me if you want to be notified when its ready. :-)
