    3g symbol on OS .428

So I updated to .428 and love everything about it, finally got better signal, screen click is perfect. Data transfer is faster, etc but I have noticed the 3g symbol sometimes has the dots BB symbol and sometimes doesnt??? Anyone know why, is this two levels of 3g or something?

I think that is the interpretation of the older 1XEV /1xev format.

When you have the 3G with the BB dots you have 1XEV and then the same goes for 3G with no dots you have 1xev.

    That's my guess.

THis may sound silly, but with each new OS release, don't they usually include a PDF user manual in one of the folders once it installs on your PC? Maybe there is a manual in your OS folder that will explain the symbols... Just my two cents worth...

Its actually 3G when connected to rim servers and 3g when not. I am not sure what you guys are meanin by the dots? Are you talking about your signal meter?
