Yes this link is getting hammered. I'm going to stop my download for the greater good. I wont be doing anything to my 9520 today. Excited though to see what this brings to the table....hopefully updating homescreen. fingers crossed.

I downloaded and installed this 5.0.0.341 leak this morning, used the same procedure I have used everytime that I have upgraded an O/S.
This time though when I run apploader, only options I get are to install/uninstall third party apps. Nothing about loading new O/S?
Looks to me like when comparing the S/W installed on the PC and my phone (BB 9520 running 5.0.0.306 UK _ Vodafone) it's doesn't think this S/W is compatible?
Anyone got any ideas?
Couple of things come to mind Kerr....
I would check to see that you only have one Operating System installed to your PC.
The other item of interest would be to look and see that the vendor.xml has been deleted from the OS as well as from the PC. (empty the recycle bin).

Thanks for the reply.
I have already gone through those operations, delete vendor.xml and other O/S.
Luckily I have a semi working 9520 to test with. What I have had to do is open up the Loader.exe and when it give me a list of apps (3rd party) I select the Add button at the top, navigate to the directory where the new O/S is located and then select all files in there.
After that I have the option to install the new O/S. Seems to have worked ok on my 'broken' 9520 (it works apart from bottom buttons).
I will give the other one a go now.

Just for giggles, if you will humor me....
When you open DM, in the upper right hand corner would you select the Help Tab.
Once that Tab populates you will be given some choices. Please select "About Blackberry Desktop Manager".
From here another window generates. You are now given three tabs across the top of the window. Let's select the tab Device Software.
This should display the current Operating System that is installed on your PC.
What do you have listed in this tab?
Ok, I can do that soon. When I plugged in my other 9520 and loaded apploader, this time it detected the new O/S and gave me the option to upgrade, which it is now doing as I write this.
As for DM, I'll send you the version shortly, but I do know I only upgraded to the 5.0.1 patch a week or so ago, but if you still want i will send you the excat version once apploader has done it's stuff.

Looks as if you are able to get the OS to load to your device.
The scenario I was playing out would only tell me which OS was installed onto your PC.

Help me out here, guys...is this leak for the 9520, 9550 or both? The home page says Storm 2, but then it has 9520 next to it. Doesn't make sense to me.
