This one is as it says on the tin, 9520 only.
AFAIK the O/S for the 9520 and 9550 are different, so you can load one on the other.
I am afraid you will just have to wait for a 9550 leak unless someone tells me I am talking B*** Sh**?!? :cool2:

You are right Kerr....You cannot load a 9520 OS onto a 9550 device and vice versa...

FYI-

ooak has a hybrid for the 9550 that fixes the homescreen updating problem

@MePascal....Going back to this issue about whether an O/S will run on a 9520 or 9550.
Today when I was looking at this 5.0.0.341 O/S for the 9520 I noticed there was a CDMA folder among the files. Now AFAIK the 9520 doesn't support CDMA, only GSM and UMTS, so why is there a CDMA folder?
Will this O/S run on a 9550 and vice versa?
I am assuming both phones are almost identical except the 9550 has CDMA support?!?

What was in the CDMA folder?

A file called 'rim0x0E001404.sfi' - 16.2KB in size. Non text file so I don't know what it's for, but obviously I guess not for the 9520!

Wonder if anyone has tried to load that leak on the 9550? It wouldn't hurt the phone would it? I mean you could always wipe it and install the right OS, right?

It wont work. Even though the folder says CDMA, the radio file is for GSM phone.. additionally it will not recognize your phone because of the file name of your phone compared to the name of the OS

9520 and 9500 leaks and official have always had a CDMA folder.

The 9500 even had it written on the bottom of the battery cover!

I have gone through the normal procedure that I always do and neither AppLoader or Loder acknowledge it's existence on the PC.

It just lists the 3rd party appz.

NOTE: This is NOT the same package as the last .341 - it is 7 megs bigger in size and actually installs properly! :hail:
