I'm working on getting the bold 5.0 OS leak on the storm until a leak comes out for the storm. I will keep you guys updated on how this is going as I figure out things.

dang good luck with that...would be pretty sweet
would really appreciate if he would
Oh wow...seems far fetched because I know it's geared up for the storm 2. But like jlevy said...I'm sure BBcrackman can definitely hook it up. We have only begun to see the power of the Storm.
well replaced some files and got it to boot...was amazed of how fast it booted 20 seconds or so
yes i'm serious radio, keyboard, and touch don't work at this time will work on it and give more info
i really will be shocked if we see a storm 2 before the christmas shopping time begins
jlevy I was actually about to say maybe we have seen a recent hold on the leaks and a stall on VZW to update because they are waiting for an entire new OS as in 5.0 rather than all the 4.7's. For current Storm owners and 2nd generation storm. I do know for a fact that they intend to market the whole new os 5.0 with and entire new hardware Storm 2nd generation. To rival iphone 3.0 and it's 3rd gen. release. But you are right, they cannot abandon the first storm gen so it has to be compatible.
An indent sure press screen...(which is instead of the entire screen clicking, the response is triggered by finger pressure....Wi-fi (ipod 3rd gen. has announced wireless N) that's serious. Class nine card reader (the lag in the media player and picture viewer is not in the OS but the inability to read fast memory cards. It's rated as class 2 though some say it can read class 6. But we all know it prehistorically lags in the Media section. Who knows, it may also be made ready for 4G, but as far as I know that's in the Storm 3rd Gen. featured for 2010.
Oh by the way...it will also be lighter.

Plus the storm touch screen is actually not a touch screen at all. It's actually the RIM OS placed on a device where the screen is one large button emulating the same effects as the famous blackberry ball. Passing your finger up and down the screen is the same action as rolling your finger up and down the ball. Stop on the highlighted icon you selected just like with the ball and click down on the screen just like you would with the ball. The button for the ball is now placed behind the screen. it's the clicking of the screen (ball) that triggers the run command. so it's actually not a true touch screen without the Button. The storm would be useless if the screen couldn't click. So all the screen is is a button (a large ball) follow me? The storm needs and entire completely separate OS. Which is why Verizon isn't happy.
