I know everyone has been waiting patiently today, I can not make you wait any longer. Here it is!!!!

Ah yes, the time has come. After many late nights it is here. Seems like this is going to be a bi weekly thing :).

We kind of have two surprises for you. Yes, we have the v3.5 BUT we also have v3.5.1 which includes the color fix and larger keyboard. Download which ever one you prefer.

BBC v3.5.zip
Use this file if you are on Verizon
BBC v3.5.1.zip
v3.5.1 is by request for the larger keyboards and EDGE on TMO, this sfi file is not as stable as the one used in v3.5
BBC v3.5-113.zip
For those of you who liked the .113, here is the Hybrid based off the .113 radio file.
BBC v3.5-109.zip
For those who liked the .109, here is the Hybrid based off the .109 radio file.
Installation procedure to follow.




**update - there is an error that is happening when installing. It is best if you DO NOT install this over .122. Meaning, if you have .122 installed on your phone, downgrade to another OS version (or wipe the phone) and then run this. We are looking into why this error is occurring but for now please downgrade before installing.**

FINDINGS THREAD HERE

I have also compiled an Installer so there will be no more Copy & Paste. Please follow the install directions. You will need to have an OS already installed on you PC. I would recommend anything from 4.7.0.103 on up. If you do not have one of the afore mentioned OS's you can obtain one HERE.




Start install
1)

2) This program defaults to the 9530 v4.7.0.114 directory

3) If you do not have .114 installed you will get this prompt (select NO) If you have 4.7.0.114 installed you will not get this prompt, proceed to Step 6

4) Click the box next to the program path to choose a new Path

5) Navigate through the file tree to C:/Program Files/ Common Files/ Research in Motion/ Shared/ Loader Files and highlight your installed OS and click ok.

6) Now click start and sit back and relax

8)Now just click Next and then exit and your Hybrid is installed

You will still have to go to C:/Program Files/ Common Files/ Research In Motion/ Apploader and delete your vendor.xml

Now use your Loader.exe to install the OS.

NOTE: Apploader is from the DM,

The Loader App (an application named Loader) is from the folder path: C:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

It looks like a blackberry phone and is what is used to force the install directly.

If you are using these hybrids it will not be recognized by the DM (Desktop Manager)

Hey BBCM quick question....I noticed you stated that V3.5 is more stable for us Verizon carriers but if we wanted the color fix and larger keyboard that of the V3.5.1 has is there a way of getting those features with the V3.5? Or is V3.5.1 pretty much the same but more focused for the other carriers? Just curious.

Can this be installed over your 3.0? Just downloaded it and ran it as directed. There was no vendor file and when you run the loader is says that what you are trying to load is older than what is already on the BBerry ( 3.0)? Advice?

This was asked last night in the VIP downloads and they said that Yes you can install it over 3.0 they just recommend to not install it over .122. You want to replace it with the older. BBC said that there are some files mixed in that are older thats why. As for the vendor file...if you deleted it on the 3.0 install it is probably still gone....Hope that helps.

You want to "replace with" do not "keep"

i have installed in my.109 folder and deleted the vendor.xml. However, app loader tells me my software is up to date. Can I force app loader to load it?

Load it with the app loader, and kill you internet connection before you start.

What is not there, you app loader? or the v3.5 files

When I open app loader it only shows my apps. It does not give me the opion to load 3.5

Got it....Sweet deal....Now this thing runs like it should have from verizon from the start....

if you have installed v3.5 correctly, navigate here with the explorer function of your computer...right click on start then explore. Should find an icon looks like a phone, click it, should start the loadinfg process.

ive done that but it olny shows the option to reload the apps that I have on my phone.
