    Ok. So I got bored, wanted to try 3.5.1... everything loaded fine, no problems. Now I am trying to restore my stuff and desktop manager(which is becoming a thorn in my side) is telling me "There was a communication error between the device and the desktop manager. I am on vista and my desktop manager is 4.7.... HELP!

    go to your device manager and see if there is a yellow mark next tor device. It may be a driver issue.

    You mean you are uninstalling DM? If so, that's good. Once done uninstalling reboot your PC and reinstall.
