EDGE is fine, just had a random reboot, followed by a "Media Card Insterted" error. I pulled the battery, pulled the card, rebooted, red powered off, inserted card, and red powered back on.

Unfortunately that may happen with .90. But you did the right thing. May want to wipe the phone and reinstall the OS. I have been running v3.5.1 for a long time with no issues (but I wiped before installing).

I have had the same results. This time around for me, .90 has been very stable. I've only had one VSOD from deleting an app from the phone. A couple hard resets and I was good to go.

I to am having the same problems with random reboting and VSOD along with that if I turn my phone off and turn it back on I will lose my EDGE and the only way that i can get it back is to quickpull and sometimes this will not work either

The VSOD is one of the big downfalls of the .90 sfi, as for the EDGE try going to manage your connections and turning on your network, pull the battery and when it reboots go back to manage connections and turn network back on

As pointed out .90 is good for holding EDGE (for the most part) but it is unstable. Unfortunately you may have to go back to .75 which was stable and held EDGE fine but is much slower. Let us know if you need any further help.

its such a great os other than those issues, i hope that they will be resolved soon

I agree. I am currently running BBC's hybrid v3.5 with the .90 radio code and have no problems. Perhaps you could try updating your PRL. Also from BB try this: Options -advanced options - host routing table - hit the BB button - click register now. Then do a battery pull. Might help.

Sounds like he is a GSM user. So unfortunately v4 won't be much help to this individual as any radio code above .90 does not hold a good EDGE connection.

hey bbc, i dwnld hv.3.5. when i get to the app. loader files on my c. drive i dont see the vendor .xml files to delete. now 1 more thing i did dwnld the .122 rar files that wouldnt by any chance impede my install im doing now would it?

If the vendor file is not there don't worry about it, you're good.

No the .122 files won't effect the install.
