Yes, try doing it with internet turned off.
will do
ok...tried that and got the same results. Unfortunately I need to jam....I will look for your update later and continue to get this finished. Thanks for the help thus far. Later.
Sorry, I've never understood the issue about the keys. I didn't notice any difference in the size of the keys in any previous version of the OS.
Are the keys actually bigger than what is shown? I know the letters on the keys are bigger, but the keys themselves are the same size if you measure them. After all, there is only so much space on the screen to fit/display the keys.
So there really should be no difference when typing. Or does it not matter how large the rectangle symbolizing the key is, and only how large the actual letters are?![]()
The radio code for .90 had bigger letters than radio codes for later OS's both in landscape mode and portrait mode. Yes the keys are actually larger so those with big fingers found the keyboard on .90 to be quite pleasant. The problem with .90 was that for some, it was unstable.
Lost "EDGE" for the first time today, also had my first random reboot yesterday.
Battery pull now, hoping the "edge" becomes "EDGE".
Phone rebooted by itself about 15 minutes ago. When it came up. VSOD. Pulled SDCARD out, rebooted. Another VSOD. Pulled battery out. Left it out for 2 minutes. Put it back in. Another VSOD.
HELP. What do I do?
Maybe remove the SIM card, Media Card and battery for a few minutes?
I am back on a solid "EDGE" now.
using 3.5.1
Took 5 battery pulls with SDcard out. Finally no VSOD. But now waiting my 5-10 minutes for EDGE to come up.
Not really sure I like this hybrid now. Never had so many VSODs and crashes.
3.5.1 uses the .90 sfi and it was the worst in my opinion for stability but best for EDGE, lot have people have been complaining bout losing EDGE. If it keeps happening, try this: Go to manage connections> turn network off> perform a battery pull> after boot up go back to manage connections> turn network on...... that should help or maybe even fix it, i had this problem with my 1XEV and this helps my problem
Glad to see your getting solid EDGE now brian!
