My preference is the smaller one, but then I have small fingers too.

True, I agree it is very useful for many users, it is nice that we have that choice.

To bad they don't give you an option in the menus or anything for switching them

I have big fingers and texting is a challenge at times. I would love the bigger keyboard but my v3.5 is running great, I don't really want to mess with it.

I was using v3.5.1 for a while and liked it. This is one that has the bigger keyboard.

I found a couple of downsides:

    1. OS was much slower
    2. Memory leak was significant
    3. Radio was not the best in terms of call quality.

However, on the plus side battery life was the best I have ever used.

Finding with 3.5.1 I am getting VSODs more often. I am also having the problem where the screen does not dim to black sometimes. A reboot helps, but I never saw this before. I also don't like forcing reboots as even with .90 my radio is losing EDGE on reboots way more then it did before. Waiting again for it to turn on. This is after 3 reboots.

I am also noticing that sometimes it shows EDGE, but still does not have any data connection. Just does not work. 2 way bars at top right never come up. Whether on browser, trying to send PIN or email or anything. Which just happened again, so this is what I had to do:

    1 reboot:
    Waited 10 minutes, No EDGE.
    reboot again.
EDGE, but also VSOD. (I heard the mail coming in and out)
    remove SD card.
    Reboot
no VSOD, so put SD card back in, but
No EDGE again. Wait 10 minutes
    Reboot
    No EDGE again.
Wait 10-15. Did not keep track.
EDGE finally comes up as I am writing this.

Am I the only one going through this?

The .90 sfi file was very unstable and had these issues, im not sure why your losing EDGE so much, try going to manage connections, turn your network off, reboot phone, after the boot up go back to manage connections and turn network back on

Ok....I installed the bbcrackman 3.5 hybrid and I want to install the 3.5 .113. I uninstalled all others from my pc and loaded the 3.5 .113 .exe. I then went to the apploader and all I got was my apps and no choice to install the new OS. I read someone else had the same issue but never saw how it was resolved. Thanks in advance for any help.

When you run apploader, it should give you two choices 1) Keep phone as is 2) Down/upgrade (this is not what it says but its intended)

correct. I just get the app part off it. When I upgraded to 3.5 I was able to choose the OS...now, sadly, I don't. When it finishes nothing changes.
